The challenge of economic disparities created by the wealth gap between the upper and
lower classes in Baltimore has continuously escalated. Wealth is divided across geographical and
racial lines living out most of the residents’ suburbs with minor economic developments. As a
result, most of the population lives in impoverished conditions, whereas a small percentage
seems to be on the upper side of the economic scale.

The gap between the upper and lower classes in Baltimore City has continued to widen,

Characterized by social problems, racial inequality, and injustices, the need to establish the
underlying causes of the financial gaps leads us to this report’s objectives. The objectives of the
